Support that lets the team focus on the festival, not the ticketing system
The old way created uncertainty. Fairtix turned ticketing into a calm operational base: personal support, local campaign flexibility and clear growth data.

Direct support when it matters
During the festival itself, the Baaspop team experienced first-hand what personal support means under pressure. "On event night, something might not be set up correctly: something you configured yourself," Mansier explains. "It gets solved on the spot. That removes an enormous amount of stress. Your biggest fear is that the entrance jams up, and with Fairtix that simply doesn't happen." With an average response time of just two minutes, questions were picked up almost instantly, even during peak moments on event day.
Room for local partnerships
For this year's edition, Baaspop ran a savings campaign with a local supermarket. Visitors collected vouchers and redeemed them as discount codes. Not a standard ticketing scenario by any measure. In close collaboration with Fairtix, the webshop was tailored to support the full campaign workflow, from voucher validation to ticket purchase. "After we launched it, we received zero questions from users," says Mansier. "It was pure custom work, and it worked perfectly for us."
Data for the next edition
Mansier highlights the depth of data as a major step up from their previous provider. "You have enormous insight into your data and demographics. Where do visitors come from? How old are they? When do they buy? But also on the night itself. With scanning you have so much information available: who's inside, which ticket types are scanned where." He adds that the full potential hasn't even been explored yet: "It's incredibly broad. I think there are possibilities we haven't even seen yet."
At Fairtix you always get someone on the line who truly thinks along with you. You are helped by people who understand how festivals work and what you need.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions about Baaspop ticketing setup
How did Baaspop keep entrance queues short?
Baaspop used Fairtix's scanning system, which processes each visitor in an average of two seconds. The scanning tools also provide real-time data on who has entered, which ticket types are being scanned and at which entrance giving the team full visibility without slowing anyone down.
Could Baaspop run local voucher and discount campaigns?
Yes. For their third edition, Baaspop partnered with a local supermarket for a savings campaign that involved physical vouchers and unique discount codes. Fairtix built a custom webshop flow to handle the full voucher-to-ticket process. After launch, the team received no user support requests about the campaign it worked seamlessly out of the box.
What happened when something needed fixing on event day?
During the festival, the Baaspop team had direct access to real people at Fairtix not a helpdesk queue. When a discount-code issue came up on event night, it was resolved within minutes. This immediate support removed the team's biggest operational fear: that something would go wrong at the entrance with no one available to help.
How does Fairtix help festival organisers use their ticket sales data?
Fairtix provides real-time dashboards with demographic data, buying behaviour insights, tracking links and campaign performance metrics. Organisers can see where visitors come from, when they buy, and how different campaigns perform both before and during the event. The scanning system adds a live layer on top, showing real-time entrance flow by ticket type and location.
Why did Baaspop switch from their previous ticketing provider?
Baaspop's previous provider offered limited back-office contact, making it difficult to get help when issues arose. The team needed a partner who could offer personal, responsive support especially during high-pressure moments like event day. Fairtix met that need with direct access to knowledgeable staff, a two-minute average response time, and the flexibility to implement custom campaigns that their old system couldn't support.
